    Introduction

If you've played Resident Evil 7, there's a good chance that you either really love it or really hate it. It's an interesting game to argue about with friends because people tend to fall on either side of the fence: those who think it's a return to form for the series and those who think it's a step backwards from Resident Evil 5 and 6. But did you know that there's a way to change your mind about Resident Evil 7? By trying new things! And by exploring other aspects of the game beyond just whether or not it feels like Resident Evil 4. In fact, I'd say this is true for most games (and books!). So let's talk about how we can change our minds about Resident Evil 7—and any other aspect of life where we feel stuck in our opinions.

Resident Evil 7 is a polarizing game.

Resident Evil 7 is a polarizing game. It's not loved by everyone, but it does have a lot of positive reviews.

It's also common for people to say that Resident Evil 7 is not for them because they don't like horror games or first-person shooters (FPS). This can be frustrating if you think you want to play Resident Evil 7 but haven't yet tried it because you think it won't be fun for you.

There are two ways to look at it.

You can either hate it or love it. It's up to you, and your opinion is valid. You're not going to change other people's minds about Resident Evil 7, so there's no point in trying.

Either it's a return to form for the franchise, or it's a step backwards.

The question of whether or not Resident Evil 7 is a return to form for the franchise is one that has been debated since its release. Some say it's a step backwards, others argue that it's a return to form. There are pros and cons to both arguments, but ultimately it comes down to what you personally think about Resident Evil 7.

If you can get past the first hour or so (which admittedly takes some time), Resident Evil 7 is actually a pretty good game with some new ideas and fun gameplay mechanics like inventory management being thrown out the window in favor of more traditional shooter tropes like ammo pickups and health regeneration stations which help make combat feel more intense than ever before.

Here's how to change your mind if you're in the latter camp.

    • Play through the game again.
    • Try a different path.
    • Try the VR mode, which is now free to anyone who owns Resident Evil 7 on PS4 and Xbox One.
    • Try out some of the paid DLC that Capcom has released since launch (or even just play through those areas again).

You can change your view by trying new things and seeing if the game is really as bad as you think it is

    • Try a new game mode.
    • Try a different weapon.
    • Try a different character.
    • Change the difficulty setting to something you're more comfortable with, like easy or normal instead of hard or nightmare (or vice versa).
    • Change how you play, whether it's going all guns blazing or trying to be stealthy most of the time. Or maybe even try playing a game genre that isn't horror if you want something completely different!

What you're doing is validating their actions.

What you're doing is validating their actions. You are giving them the satisfaction of knowing that they have upset someone, and that person will have to deal with it in some way. If you react by saying "I hate him" or "I'm going to get him back" or anything along those lines, you're letting them win because now they know that their bullying has gotten under your skin.

This isn't a good thing! Bullies don't care if they're making other people feel bad--they only care about making themselves feel good. If there's one thing bullies want more than anything else, it's attention from their victims; this gives them validation for their actions (or at least makes them feel better about themselves). So when we allow ourselves to be manipulated into becoming angry at someone who has done nothing wrong but merely inconvenienced us by being mean online or whatever else may come up in day-to-day life... well then we've fallen right into their trap!

Don't associate with people like that.

Resident Evil 7 is a horror game. It's meant to scare you and make you jump, but if you find that it doesn't do those things for you, then maybe consider playing something else?

If your friends are telling you that the game is scary and making fun of how scared they were when they played it (or even if they aren't), don't listen. You don't want to associate with people who think Resident Evil 7 isn't worth their time because there are plenty of other games out there that are more enjoyable than this one--and they won't ruin your enjoyment of them either!

You can still enjoy Resident Evil 7 if you don't agree with it.

If you don't agree with it, that's fine!

If you don't like it, that's fine!

If you don't understand it, that's fine!

And if you don't like the characters or their actions, that's also not a problem.

There are ways to create better relations with people but they're not always easy and they take time.

You can use the internet to help you find the right words. If you're having trouble starting a conversation, there are many websites available that provide tips on how to do so. For example, if your friend has an unpopular opinion about something and you want them to change it, there are some steps that might work:

    • Start by asking questions about their opinion and listening closely when they answer.
    • Let them know that you're willing (and happy) to talk about this topic at any time (even if it's not right now).
    • Whenever possible, use phrases like "I agree with" instead of "You're wrong." This will make both parties feel respected even though they may disagree on certain points or ideas."

    Conclusion

Resident Evil 7 is a great game, but it's not for everyone. If you try it and find that it doesn't click with you, there are other ways to enjoy the franchise. For example, the older games have been remastered recently and they look great on modern platforms like PC or PS4! They also have better controls than ever before thanks to new remapping options within each game (like how pressing "Y" will open doors instead of reloading weapons)."
